25km (15 miles) west of Kuala Lumpur city center, 30-45 minutes by car/taxi.
We recommend staying in Kuala Lumpur for maximum enjoyment, and taking taxi/Grabcar to Shah Alam for the wedding.
Otherwise, I recommend a one night stay at the Grand Blue Wave Hotel, Shah Alam on Friday prior to the wedding. That way you can come to the house the day before the wedding to see wedding prep.
